The Vision

We envision saturating Multihousing Communities (MHC) with an expanding network of micro-churches.  We want to see every MHC in and around Atlanta infected with believers who are intentionally on mission, who share the love of Christ with their neighbors, and who are committed to discipling others, using micro-church environments.  We also envision birthing a movement of micro-church networks in major cities around the country.

Prayer Requests

• Residents to respond to the gospel
• Believers to catch the vision without dominating Bible discussions
• Established Christians to serve by helping with events and discipling new/young believers
• Indigenous leaders to emerge

Volunteer Needs

We are on-site as a CARES Team with Apartment Life, which is a Christian ministry that places teams into apartment communities for the purpose of helping build community through the use of events.  We use volunteers to help with our events, but we need only 2-4 volunteers at each event.  Most of these come from our sponsoring church or interested friends.  We are not permitted to use our events to evangelize but rely on relational evangelism.

That being said, we would welcome volunteers to help with events, but they need to be small teams (2-4) and not come expecting to directly evangelize but to assist us in building serving and building relationships.  Each month we do approximately 5 events.

Financial Needs

• $3500/month for salary needs
• $100/month for meals.  Our official Apartment Life events are paid for by the apartments, but we host meals on Monday nights that are not Apartment Life functions.  We schedule these so that we can set the agenda and have spiritual discussions.  Normally, we have 6-10 people attending.
